The connection interface of hot melt butt joint is a plane. The method is to heat two identical connection interfaces with hot plates to a viscous flow state, remove the hot plates, and then apply some pressure to the connection interface, and cool and solidify under this pressure state to form a firm connection. The main processes are adjustment, heating, switching, joint compression and cooling. The materials in the viscous flow state on the interface have both flow and diffusion during the docking, and the flow is too large to be conducive to diffusion and entanglement. Therefore, the flow should be restricted to a certain range to realize "post-fusion welding" in the limited flow. Therefore, the key of the butt joint process is to adjust the three parameters of temperature, time and pressure in the butt joint process, and to take into account the performance, stress state, geometric form and environmental conditions of the interface material, so as to realize the reliable fusion welding.
